Step 1 - Taking measurements in centimeters:
1) Find a ruler that has centimeter graduations on it. We used a 25 cm ruler for this.

2) Locate the edge of your heel and pivot the ruler from there. This will give you the widest part of your foot.

3) The measurement we got was 8.8 cm (you may need to put a piece of paper under your heel so it doesn't fall off). This means our foot is size 39 (European size) shoe.

4) repeat step 2 and 3 using the tip of your toes and get the same number (this will be very easy since they are both at the same distance from each other).

5) Divide the measurement you got by 2. For example, our measurement is 8.8 cm, so 8.8/2=4.9 cm. Subtract 0.1 from this number because a shoe should be slightly smaller than your foot .

So our final result is 4.9-0.1=4.8 cm or 4 1/4 " (there are 25 mm in an inch). So our foot size is 4 1/4 inches, which means that we need to look for shoes with sizes between 4 and 4 1/2 inches (European sizes between 35 and 39).

Step 2 - Taking measurements in inches:
1) Measure around the widest part of your foot, the one at the bottom. We used a tape measure for this.

2) The measurement we got was 10.9 inches or 25.2 cm. This means our foot is size 38 (European size) shoe,

but it might be too big for you, so go down a half or full size depending on your shoe size and style ( not all shoes will fit you)
3) repeat step 2 and 3 using the tip of your toes and get the same number (this will be very easy since they are both at the same distance from each other).

4) Divide the measurement you got by 2. For example, our measurement is 10.9 inches, so 10.9/2=8.6 inches or 24 cm. Subtract 0.1 from this number because a shoe should be slightly smaller than your foot .

So our final result is 24-0.1 = 24 cm or 1 foot (there are 12 inches in a foot). So our shoe size is 1 foot, which means that you will have to look for shoes with sizes between 8 and 8 1/2 inches.

Step 3 - Taking measurements in centimeters:
1) Find a ruler with centimeter graduations on it. We used a 25 cm ruler for this.
2) Locate the edge of your heel and pivot the ruler from there. This will give you the widest part of your foot.

We got 9.5 cm (you may need to put a piece of paper under your heel so it doesn't fall off). This means our foot is size 38 (European size) shoe .
